The Analytics Intern will support the healthcare analytics team by working with data to generate insights that inform business and clinical decisions. This role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, with exposure to real-world healthcare challenges. The intern will collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to assist in various analytical projects that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Job Highlights
:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Excel.
• Support predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and trend identification.
• Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data, including claims, electronic health records (EHR), and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Document methodologies, processes, and findings clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
:KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
Technical Skills
• Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Excel or Power BI for data visualization.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and basic predictive modeling techniques.
• Exposure to healthcare data (e.g., claims, billing, EHR) is a plus but not required.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data.

Additional Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in healthcare analytics and using data to improve patient outcomes and business operations.
