Overview:

Sr. Oracle EBS Developer

6-month contract-to-hire; Alexandria, VA (Remote)

SUMMARY:

Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Sr. Oracle EBS Developer to support our direct US Government client.
This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.

SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

Support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and overall technical support as required.
Demonstrate Functional expertise in implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Financials – Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
Enhance and support existing production applications and create new applications as the need arises.
Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
Conduct risk management analysis and create business continuity, contingency, and disaster recovery plans.
As directed by the Software Architect, effectively and proactively work with customers/end users of application(s) to ensure needs are being met / managed in a positive manner.

Provide on-call and after hours support as required to support the production systems.

Qualifications:

A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
10+ years of experience in software development and/or related field.
8+ years of experience developing objects and code in Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.9 – Financials.
Oracle EBS Financials knowledge centering around Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, iSupplier, Oracle Projects, and Fixed Assets.
Strong implementation background and ability to solve complex business requirements.
In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solutions.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) and IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow).
Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
Strong knowledge of payment processing and methods including EFT and NACHA requirements.
Knowledge of Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing.
Experience designing, implementing, operating and administering relational DBMS.
Demonstrate development/support experience with more than one DBMS product (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
