The Advanced Workflow Specialist is responsible for driving the Mass spectrometry business (Accurate MS and Nominal MS) within the sales region. In this role, you will continually develop your business and commercial skills, whilst building upon your technical and scientific knowledge.

This position reports to the General Manager, Japan, ANZ, SEA and TW and is part of the Sales team located in Taiwan and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Leverage your expertise to improve win rate in the Mass spectrometry business (Accurate MS and Nominal MS) by identifying business/ market opportunities
  • Contribute to strategic business planning and regional development and growth plans
  • Lead initiatives to drive sales within the region including collecting Voice of Customer (VOC) and feedback to organization
  • Deploy new workflows/ instrumentation into target key customer sites and as key support to customers and in driving collaborative projects
  • Planning and delivering SCIEX presentations in seminars and conferences and in providing analysis on SCIEX Product positioning to maintain our competitiveness.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry or life sciences related fields are highly preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the similar industry
  • Strong technical hands on skills with in depth market & business knowledge in the Mass spectrometry business (Accurate MS and Nominal MS), Proteomics, Metabolomics, Lipidomics and/or Bio/Pharma markets.
  • At least 2 years sales experience and a commercial mindset with results-oriented drive.
  • Strong command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 60% and possessing a valid driver’s license is highly desirable.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Managing key customer accounts and drive collaborative projects
  • Data analysis on key workflows and market trends.
