The Senior Director of Marketing Operations will lead and optimize marketing processes, systems, and data-driven decision-making and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, such as Product Marketing, Business Development, Sales, and Customer Success. This role is responsible for marketing automation, budget management, campaign execution, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee martech stack management, compliance and globalization efforts as necessary, ensuring responsible data management and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Drive strategic marketing operations strategic initiatives:
Data strategy, hygiene efforts, list segmentation and implementation.
Lead management, scoring routing and nurturing with in-depth analysis and reporting on impact to pipeline.
Database growth: expansion, enrichment and cleansing.
Lifecycle management of stage conversion movement and measurement.
Lead marketing analysis and planning, ensuring data-driven insights drive campaign strategies and marketing performance improvements.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and marketing investments yield strong ROI.
Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting of marketing expenditures.
Develop and manage integrations between Gainsight and Marketo to ensure a seamless content management portal.
Ensure we properly execute all basic administrative functions for marketing tools including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Safeguard the proper handling of email marketing processes, including managing unsubscribed and suppressed lists responsibly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and customer success, to align marketing operations with business objectives.
Monitor and enhance campaign performance through ongoing measurement, reporting, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in marketing operations, automation, and analytics
Expertise in Marketo, Gainsight, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Strong analytical skills with experience in budget management, marketing performance tracking, and reporting.
Excellent project management and process optimization skills.
Experience working in SaaS, B2B marketing, or technology-driven environments is a plus.
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $175,000 w/ 15% annual bonus
