Regional Mobility Segment Manager - Europe (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
The overall ambition of the newly created global “Regional Mobility segment” manager is to establish “Thought-leadership in market segments with the biggest potential for green and digital solutions”.
The Regional Mobility Segment Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing Hitachi's sustainable growth ambitions within the mobility sector. This individual leverages industry thought leadership and domain expertise to implement essential segment management processes, such as comprehensive market analysis and industry-specific playbooks. Collaborating closely with the Portfolio Manager, Account Management organization, and regional business units, the Regional Segment Manager ensures that customer needs are translated into competitive value propositions, driving success in mobility segments.
Develop and execute the One Hitachi strategy for designated market segments, focusing on creating winning business models and identifying necessary partners.
Conduct strategic market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within the segment.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers at senior levels to ensure alignment and communication on segment strategies.
Collaborate with BUs to gather and address segment-specific customer needs and feedback.
Align segment strategies with overall company goals and drive synergies across BU roadmaps to ensure cohesive and integrated market approaches.
Support BUs in optimizing resource allocation across market segments based on strategic priorities.
Support strategic planning processes including market validation, demand forecasting, and competitive positioning to strengthen market presence.
Identify market and product gaps, proposing prioritization of new initiatives to address these areas effectively.
Translate business strategies into actionable segment plans and oversee their implementation to achieve target outcomes.
Monitor and report on segment performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
Uphold and promote core values of safety and integrity, ensuring personal accountability and fostering a culture of care within the business.

Proactively support the Build-up, Onboarding of the Mobility Group Accounts, Mobility Regional accounts and Mobility Cross BU accounts within the region together with the different stakeholder ( Head of account, Region and BU’s Region M&S)

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
More than 10 years of experience working in one of the Hitachi focused sectors (energy, mobility, industries, digital)
Proven track record of delivering successful and scalable market solutions that solve customer problems and achieve business outcomes through the collaboration of various internal and external teams
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights and recommendations
Deep understanding of markets, market analysis technics, the product development lifecycle, and customer-centric solutions design principles.
Strong analytical and financial skills combined with deep technology knowhow, to perform strategic market analysis and prepare business plans
Passionate about customer satisfaction, product quality, and continuous learning and improvement
Drive product innovation and differentiation by leveraging emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer feedback
Resourceful with the ability to work independently with minimal direction. Quick to react to urgent request, relying on self-drive and motivation.
