The Manager, Global Trade Digital Technology & Business Intelligence will support the Enterprise Operations (EO) Global Trade (GT) organization and will be based remotely. Reporting to the EO GT Portfolio and Program Management Lead, this role will lead the Digital Technology (DT) pillar. The Manager will ensure that EO’s digital tools and information systems remain compliant with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other global regulatory requirements impacting our U.S. and international sites.

This role also oversees business intelligence and data analytics initiatives, empowering the Enterprise Operations GT program with actionable insights and innovative solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct Cyber, Legal, and Risk Assessment (CLARA) Global Trade Assessments (GTAs) to evaluate compliance risks and provide strategic guidance on digital tool deployment

  • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for issues related to compliance, data protection, and access control

  • Partner with subject matter experts to interpret, validate, and visualize data, transforming insights into business decisions

  • Foster alignment between the EO GT program and digital transformation efforts by actively participating in forums and addressing compliance risks proactively

  • Identify organizational needs and spearhead the development of sustainable, innovative digital solutions to streamline business processes

  • Collaborate with the Collins Central Global Trade Digital Compliance organization to drive consistent practices and compliance

  • Represent EO GT in company-wide digital technology forums and initiatives, such as the Collins GT DT Council

  • Manage the GT DT Focal program by organizing regular meetings, disseminating updates, and providing training and resources to focals

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and international)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

  • 3+ years of indirect or direct experience with Global Trade regulations OR 3+ years of information systems management

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience with ITAR/EAR regulations

  • Experience in developing, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancing digital tools and applications

  • Familiarity with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and working knowledge of various cloud types (e.g., Gov, Commercial) and service providers

  • Knowledge of Non-U.S. export regulations

  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization

  • Experience with data analytics and use of business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, etc)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
