Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Specialist to lead squad engineers in designing, developing, configuring, maintaining, and testing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will effectively translate business needs into Salesforce applications, focusing primarily on development and configuration using Sales cloud/SFDC, SFMC, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

Responsibilities

Leadership in Development: Guide squad engineers in building Salesforce solutions by translating user stories into working code and configurations.
Problem Solving: Help squad members overcome technical challenges related to Salesforce and align solutions with the squad's technology strategy.
Code Quality Accountability: Ensure high-quality, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to Salesforce standards.
Testing and Deployment: Oversee testing and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adequate automated testing (e.g., Apex test classes).
Mentorship & Coaching: Mentor team members on Salesforce best practices through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Operational Efficiency: Enhance efficiency using the Salesforce SDLC Toolchain and contribute to CI/CD automation for deployments.
Technical Vision Communication: Define and communicate a clear architectural vision for Salesforce solutions.
Cross-Squad Collaboration: Work with other Lead Engineers to manage risks and track dependencies across squads.
Support Product Owner: Assist in defining user stories and acceptance criteria for Salesforce functionalities.
Technical Debt Management: Manage technical debt and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Release Process Management: Oversee code movement through environments (Sandbox, QA, Production) into production.
User Story Development: Contribute to developing user stories related to Salesforce features during sprints.

Requirements

Technology Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Salesforce technologies (Sales cloud/SFDC, SFMC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components). Experience with Fullstack Web technologies (ReactJS, NextJS) is a plus, but candidate should have complete understanding of concepts of Fullstack development (React, APIs, Next and Content Management System) to support the Fullstack developers on creating the solutions. Eagerness to learn additional technologies is essential.
Experience: Background in Data Engineering & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Dev & Security, and Software Development focused on Salesforce.
Management Skills: Ability to manage technical priorities within the backlog, with knowledge of Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and systems integration.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new Salesforce features and enhancements.
Communication & Collaboration: Foster proactive communication and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
