About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to lead our financial operations. This role is perfect for a results-oriented and analytical leader who can optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive financial growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, preferably in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

How will your daily work look like?

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, influencing business decisions and driving financial performance.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, while mitigating financial risks.
Process Optimization: Streamline and automate financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key areas of focus:

Revenue Management: Oversee revenue recognition, credit control, and debt collection.
Cost Management: Manage payroll, project costs, overhead expenses, and implement cost optimization strategies.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor bank accounts, cash flows, and banking products. Oversee cash flow planning and ensure liquidity.
Reporting: Prepare management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze project profitability and provide financial dashboards.
Accounting & Taxation: Manage relationships with accounting and tax firms. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.

What qualifications do you need to join us?

10+ years of overall financial experience, including 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role in the IT industry
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
Proven experience in revenue forecasting and budgeting
Experience in managing and optimizing financial processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Fluent both Polish and English
