About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to lead our financial operations. This role is perfect for a results-oriented and analytical leader who can optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive financial growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, preferably in a dynamic, high-growth environment.


How will your daily work look like?
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, influencing business decisions and driving financial performance.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, while mitigating financial risks.

  • Process Optimization: Streamline and automate financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.


Key areas of focus:
  • Revenue Management: Oversee revenue recognition, credit control, and debt collection.

  • Cost Management: Manage payroll, project costs, overhead expenses, and implement cost optimization strategies.

  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor bank accounts, cash flows, and banking products. Oversee cash flow planning and ensure liquidity.

  • Reporting: Prepare management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze project profitability and provide financial dashboards.

  • Accounting & Taxation: Manage relationships with accounting and tax firms. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.



What qualifications do you need to join us?
  • 10+ years of overall financial experience, including 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role in the IT industry

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations

  • Proven experience in revenue forecasting and budgeting

  • Experience in managing and optimizing financial processes

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Proven leadership and team management abilities

  • Fluent both Polish and English
