Job description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Benefits & Leave Analyst to join our Human Resources team. As a member of the HR department, you will have a significant role in designing, implementing and managing our organization's benefits programs, including market trends to ensure our company remains competitive and attracts, retains, and motivates top talent. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of employee leaves of absence and benefits administration.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green
  • Manage the daily administration of health & welfare benefit programs and other perks including the determination of eligibility, process enrollment for new hires and qualified life event changes
  • Oversee the open enrollment process and assists employees in understanding the organizations benefits offerings and eligibility; conduct new hire benefit orientation meetings
  • Reconcile and oversee the payments of invoices pertaining to benefit plans, health & welfare vendors and annual SAR’s mailings
  • Assist employees with their leave of absence requests, including providing information on the process and requirements
  • Assist with the administration of the STD & LTD benefits and process COBRA payments
  • Create and maintain employee records related to leaves of absence in accordance with company policies and procedures, including tracking duration, type, status, and reason for request
  • Conduct research on state and federal laws regarding leave of absence regulations
  • Research and respond promptly to employee inquiries, complaints, and grievances regarding their leave entitlements and/or rights during the leave period.
  • Review existing policies related to leaves to identify areas where improvement can be made
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and third-party benefits providers
  • Stay informed about industry trends, legislation, and best practices to recommend and implement changes to benefits programs
  • Participate in audits and prepare necessary documentation to support compliance efforts
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in leave administration, benefits or generalist role
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus
  • English fluency, all other languages a plus
