Senior Learning & Development Specialist

LastPass is looking for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Learning & Development Specialist with expertise in facilitation and instructional design to create and deliver impactful learning experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating learning programs that enhance employee capabilities, support business objectives, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Who will you work with?

As an independent contributor, you will collaborate closely with HR teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to drive learning initiatives. You will play a key role in managing and facilitating new hire onboarding programs, ensuring that all employees have a smooth transition into the organization.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

Facilitation & Delivery

• Deliver engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for employees at various levels.
• Facilitate interactive learning experiences that drive engagement, skill development, and behavior change.
• Adapt facilitation techniques to different learning styles, business needs, and leadership levels.
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leaders to support learning application.

New Hire Onboarding Management & Facilitation

• Manage, enhance, and facilitate the new hire onboarding program to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to design and improve onboarding content aligned with company culture, values, and job expectations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of onboarding, collect feedback, and continuously refine onboarding processes.

Instructional Design & Content Development

• Design and develop interactive learning materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, and assessments.
• Leverage digital tools, multimedia, and technology to enhance learning experiences; continuously assess and improve learning content based on participant feedback and business needs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and develop targeted solutions.
• Stay current on emerging learning trends, HR developments, and instructional design innovations.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

• Background in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in facilitation, instructional design, and corporate learning.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience managing and facilitating new hire onboarding programs.
• Proficiency in LMS platforms, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia), and virtual facilitation tools (e.g., MS Teams).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
• Foundational HR knowledge, including an understanding of talent development and performance management.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using learner feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve learning programs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

It's great, but not required:

• Certification in instructional design, facilitation, or learning technologies (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick, DISC, Insights, etc.).
• Knowledge of or previous experience working with Litmos LMS.
