Job description

We are looking for a Biopharma Sales Specialist who will be responsible for the sale of SCIEX mass spectrometers and supporting customers in the biopharmaceutical sector. This role involves developing orders and revenues in UK, Ireland and Nordics, retaining existing customers and prospecting for new customers via a consultative approach. You will report to the sales manager and will be required to travel for customer visits (up to 60% of the time).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts of various sizes and develop a sales strategy for UK, Ireland and Nordic territories
  • Increase sales using digital marketing, sales activities, and customer requests.
  • Identify key decision makers and create new business opportunities.
  • Analyze business relationships to support growth in your sales territory.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline, qualify leads, and optimize the success rate.
  • Lead the introduction of new products to the market.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience recommended.
  • Understanding of the biopharmaceutical market.
  • Experience in sales techniques and prospecting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process and markets in an analytical/scientific field.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

 

Additional advantages:

  • Knowledge of life science products and instrumentation.
  • Experience with SalesForce.
