Job description

Job Title:  Systems Analyst (Tier II)
Clearance Required:  Secret Clearance
Work Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor, control, troubleshoot and remediate system related problems in a data communications network.
  • Performs second-level problem determination, incident resolution, service request completion and periodic system health checks.
  • Interfaces with end users and Tier III support elements.
  • Monitor, track, analyze and respond to system alerts. Coordinate and perform system recovery activities.
  • Configure, test/troubleshoot, deploy and issue IT assets to include mobile devices, tokens, laptops, etc..
  • Provide close coordination with various groups on issues related to the network
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills – working directly with clients, colleagues, and management.

Required Qualifications: 

Education: 

  • AA Degree in related discipline and one-year related experience; Or, High School and two (2) years of related experience with relevant certification.

Experience/Skills: 

  • Ability to focus on ticketing and monitoring systems for sustained periods.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and comply with data entry standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with experience working directly with end-users, including VIPs.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, switches, routers, ports, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of mobile device platforms (iOS, Android and Blackberry).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 workstations.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Certification(s): 

  • VMware Workspace ONE Console administration
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
  • Windows 10 administration
  • Remote Administration familiarity
  • Experience using ticketing system (i.e. ServiceNow)
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
  • ITIL Foundations

Salary and Benefit Information: 

The likely salary range for this position is $62,000 - $65,000 This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
