The Position

The Partner Account Manager’s primary goal is to manage an assigned national account territory—serving customers across all tiers—while maintaining a high level of service and driving account growth. This is achieved through strategic collaboration with the account’s National and Regional Sales Managers, and by building strong relationships with the account’s internal teams, including Account Executives and Support Staff. The Partner Account Manager serves as the primary internal PCNA contact for their assigned account(s) and is responsible for supporting all needs related to pre-sale, order management, and post-sale inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned national accounts, overseeing daily service needs and partnering with sales leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and achieve defined revenue targets.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and sales partners, including Field and National Sales Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and other key stakeholders, to align on account goals and execution, while also mentoring Partner Support Specialists to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (Production, Marketing, Order Processing, Product Development, etc.) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee order progress from start to finish, providing proactive communication and resolving issues at all stages — including inventory, artwork, approvals, production delays, and post-shipment claims.
  • Support customers by acting as a subject matter expert on PCNA products and digital tools. Guide customers using in-depth knowledge of product features and decoration capabilities, and assist with training, troubleshooting, and navigation across platforms.
  • Support special customer initiatives including merchandising projects, custom quote creation, virtual mockups, and non-standard decoration requests.
  • Manage and maintain catalog programs within assigned territories, including setup, updates, and year-end wrap-up.
  • Leverage internal systems like Salesforce to track large quotes, customer activity, and follow-ups to ensure visibility and help drive closure.
  • Stay informed on international business needs, including Canada-specific requirements.
  • Travel as needed to attend tradeshows and customer visits in support of account development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident using digital tools and systems, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly

  • Highly organized and capable of independently managing multiple tasks and projects, while effectively prioritizing workload

  • Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships with both customers and internal teams

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong typing and data entry skills

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus

  • Comfortable working with data and reports to support account planning and decision-making

  • Demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail in all interactions

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales or customer service experience managing assigned accounts or territories

  • (Internal Candidates) OR a minimum of 6 months of experience in an Account Manager role

 

Shift: 9:30AM - 6:00PM EST
