HELP US HELP THE WORLD AGREE FASTER
Juro has big ambitions: to become the go-to platform for agreeing and managing contracts globally. And we'll need help doing it.
Legal tech is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs estimating that
44% of legal tasks can be automated with generative AI. With the brand we have built and the agility of early stage we are well placed to capture this opportunity.
Companies in the Americas region represent 40% of our customers — and growing. So we’ve opened a US headquarters in Boston to serve existing customers and accelerate growth. We’re hiring multiple roles locally (like this one), as well as moving UK staff to Boston.
Events and community are key channels to grow our audience in the US — but right now, our reach is limited. We don’t yet have a go-to person on the ground to represent Juro, scale our event presence, or deliver differentiated value to our community. Our marketing, and therefore our growth, is constrained by the size and engagement of our US audience.
This new Community Lead role will take full ownership of that challenge — by building our presence at events, growing a trusted network of in-house lawyers, and creating meaningful local experiences. It’s about more than logistics: we need someone who brings credibility, understands the US legal market, and can act as a local face of the Juro brand.
Success in this role means:
-Grow Juro’s community to be the largest and most engaged community of in-house lawyers in the US.
-Deliver a calendar of local hosted events.
-Act as a local ambassador, sharing Juro through speaking engagements and networking.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
Research shows that while men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, women and those in traditionally under-represented groups tend to apply only if they check all boxes. So if you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
We look for people whose approach to work aligns with our principles. For this role, we particularly value:
-Brilliant communicator & storyteller: You bring clarity and energy to everything you say or write, making complex ideas easy (and fun) to follow.
-Natural networker: You’re social, curious, and thrive on building genuine relationships that last.
-Confident public speaker: You’re at home on a stage or in front of a room, and know how to keep an audience engaged.
On top of that, you have been part of a journey where:
-You worked as an in-house lawyer or legal ops professional in the US.
-You used a CLM (any tool, not just Juro) and understand the broader legal tech stack.
-You created event-related content and worked closely with designers to develop branded assets.
Bonus points if:
-You’ve built a strong network that actively engages with your thought leadership (e.g. LinkedIn followers or regular responders).
-You’ve worked in a globally distributed team, collaborating across time zones with headquarters based elsewhere (in the US or abroad).
This job likely isn’t for you if:
-You prefer following a set process rather than building and adapting your own. This role requires initiative and the ability to shape how we do things, rather than just executing a predefined playbook.
-You need constant collaboration or hands-on guidance. With a 5-hour overlap with the UK, you’ll often need to work independently and make decisions without immediate input.
-You’re not comfortable getting stuck in with both high-level strategy and hands-on tasks. You’ll travel to events in many different US locations, work with venues as well as delegates, and prepare the content that you’ll present.
OUR MISSION
Juro exists to help the world agree faster by making legal contracts frictionless, collaborative and accessible.
Juro’s intelligent contract automation platform is on its way to de-throning desktop tools as the paradigm for collaborating on legal documentation around the world.
We’re doing that by rebuilding contracts from the ground-up around a browser-native experience, augmenting workflows with powerful AI and enabling all teams to conduct contracting jobs faster than ever before.
