Job Summary: The Method Engineer (GDS) is integral in the development of globally sanctioned methods and runbooks across all EY Service Lines and Sectors. The Global Method program directly supports the Next Wave strategy in developing solutions for Exceptional Client Service through the capture and authoring of the latest successful scalable solutions to be deployed globally.
The Method Engineer is responsible for the technical build of the method/runbooks using IBM Method Engineering Composer, creating process flow diagrams using a modeling tool, and developing interactive graphics as SVGs using the selected graphics tool. The Method Engineer ensures the “Method to Develop a Method” standard approach is applied across all service line builds, including leveraging core library components. The Method Engineer has the ability to interact with the Project Leads and global subject matter resources to manage the scope and schedule.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 2-4 years relevant experience in development of solutions using available technology preferably Adobe Illustrator or MEC prior experience. Demonstrated use of business modeling tools, Microsoft suite of products.
