Job description

Exciting Opportunity Alert

APA–the Engineered Wood Association is pleased to announce our engagement with PRM Consulting Group to lead the retained search for the Vice President, Market Access and Development, due to the incumbent’s upcoming retirement. This pivotal role reports directly to the President and involves expanding market access and driving growth in the engineered wood products sector. Key responsibilities include industry education, fostering relationships, innovation and influencing an array of audiences, including regulators, engineers, builders, and others in the housing market, built environment, and material choice.

The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management or engineering, with a preferred graduate degree. At least 7 - 10 years of progressive experience in the construction, building materials or engineered wood products industry, five years of which has been in a senior management or leadership role is also required.

We hope the market will help us finalize compensation; however, the expected range is $175,000 - $190,000, plus benefits. This is a fully remote role, so relocation is not required. When determining pay, we consider experience, education, and other job-related factors. APA’s generous benefits package includes the following:
