Aeroflow Healthcare – Mid Frontend React Software Engineer (Platform Team)

As one of the fastest-growing DME/HME companies in the nation—recognized by INC 5000 for the past seven years—we’re expanding our technology team and looking for a React/Typescript/Next.js Frontend Software Engineer to join our React Platform Team.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a thriving engineering team that now consists of nearly 90 software engineers across multiple product teams. The Opportunity
At Aeroflow, our software engineering team is structured into multiple product-focused teams, including Internal, API, React, and Adobe Commerce. Our React Platform Team plays a critical role in maintaining and evolving the core infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience of React applications across the organization.
As part of this team, you will focus on optimizing performance, ensuring scalability, and enhancing frameworks and libraries that power React-based projects. Your work will enable engineers across Aeroflow to build features efficiently and consistently by improving reusability, best practices, and underlying technical foundations.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, technical leads, QA specialists, and scrum masters to ensure the success of our engineering initiatives.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the core infrastructure, tooling, and best practices for React applications.
- Optimize performance, enhance scalability, and improve underlying frameworks and libraries.
- Build and manage reusable component libraries to improve consistency and developer productivity.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to enhance development workflows and system architecture.
- Collaborate with business owners, tech leads, and peers to deliver high-quality frontend engineering solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to teams using the React platform, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality and adhere to compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of frontend development experience with React.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, and modern front-end development.
- Proven ability to design and build scalable, reusable component libraries.
- Deep understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
- Experience debugging and maintaining frontend applications in high-volume production environments.
- Familiarity with project/issue management tools (Jira) and source control tools (GitHub/GitLab).
- Strong coding skills, including writing unit tests and integration tests for frontend applications.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with full-stack development and microservice architectures (Next.js, Node.js, Express, serverless functions).
- Familiarity with frontend performance monitoring and analytics tools.
- Understanding of design systems and UI/UX best practices.
