Job Description

As an AU E-Learning Video Developer & Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of animated videos and supporting visual content for digital learning modules. Key responsibilities include:

Video Development

Create animated videos using tools such as Vyond, incorporating characters, scenes, and dynamic elements.
Develop motion graphic videos featuring text, icons, transitions (fade-ins, slide-ins, zooms), and other visual effects.
Apply strong visual design principles (layout, typography, colour theory) to enhance storytelling and learner engagement.
Align visual content with learning objectives and instructional design standards.
Ensure polished, professional-quality video output that supports knowledge retention.

Graphic Design

Design infographics, icons, and visual assets for use in eLearning modules.
Develop UI elements, backgrounds, and interactive graphics for digital learning interfaces.
Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create high-quality visuals for both video and course content.
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and support learning outcomes.
Support video production with custom-designed graphic assets and visual enhancements.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the RTO field as a Video Developer and Graphic Designer.
Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.

Proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro – for video editing.
Adobe After Effects – for motion graphics and animation.
Adobe Photoshop – for image editing and UI design.
Adobe Illustrator – for vector graphics and infographics.
Strong grasp of design principles: typography, layout, animation timing, and colour theory.
Ability to visually interpret complex scripts and translate them into compelling visuals.
Demonstrated experience with portfolio or samples of past video and design work (required with application).

Preferred Skills:

Vyond – for character-based animations.
Camtasia – for screen recording and light editing.
Canva – for quick-turnaround designs.
Figma or Adobe XD – for eLearning UI/UX prototyping.
