Senior Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer — Remote
This is a senior-level opportunity with our client in the insurance industry for a highly skilled M365 Productivity Engineer. Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with the global technology roadmap.
• Lead the development and documentation of infrastructure and end-user computing designs, ensuring high-quality operational transitions through knowledge transfer.
• Define and maintain technical service standards, security requirements, and architectural best practices.
• Contribute to platform stability, performance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Analyze incident and problem data in collaboration with operations teams to identify areas for service improvement.
• Serve as subject matter expert for engineering roadmaps, enhancements, and service optimization.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional IT teams (network, security, servers, storage, service desk).
• Execute multiple high-priority initiatives, including:
• LDAP to LDAPS migration.
• ADFS decommissioning.
• Entra ID P2 implementation and security hardening.
• Conditional Access Policy optimization.
• Microsoft licensing review.
• BitLocker deployment.
• InTune Phase 4 (company portal, OS patching, software/driver deployment).
• Entra ID group access reviews and documentation.
