Holycode is looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer  to join our bexio team who developed the perfect tool for managing small and medium-sized companies (SME).

About the Role

• We’re looking for a self-driven and motivated Test Automation Engineer with a strong interest in mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, playing a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.
• You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues to identify bugs early, maintain a high standard of quality across the software development lifecycle, and help implement efficient testing processes.

What we expect from you:

Soft Skills

Technical Skills

• Experience with writing and maintaining automated tests using Gherkin syntax.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to test them using modern tools.
• Strong experience with manual testing methodologies, including test case design and execution.
• Practical experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Java.
• Exposure to continuous integration and deployment tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions).
• Experience with shell scripting.
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code test automation platforms and record-and-playback tools.

• Create and execute test cases for both mobile and web applications.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android.
• Perform end-to-end testing of REST APIs.
• Collaborate on behavior-driven development and help translate product requirements into test scenarios.
• Investigate issues, report bugs clearly, and track them through resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.
• Help ensure consistent quality across different devices, platforms, and environments.
