We are looking for a committed Electronic Warfare Systems Architect to support the development of our Tactical Command and Control (TC2) line of business to solve unique, challenging, and pressing problems supporting national defense and enable Joint and Coalition partners with tools required to win in the emerging operational environment.
This position requires an active US TS/SCI security clearance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDecomposing user requirements into incremental capabilities working with Subject Matter Experts and engineers.Be an integrated member of the team collaborating with Systems, Hardware, and Test Engineers to define and influence scalable, high-performance software systems that enable mission-critical electronic attack and defense capabilities.Prepare design and project artifacts intended to be used within complex programs or across sets of programs in accordance with established processes.Lead the software architecture design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with program requirementsDevelop and maintain system software for electronic warfare applications.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate software solutions seamlessly.Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize software.Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to incorporate innovative solutions.Define and document software architecture.Create and deliver clear and compelling high-quality briefings, documents, conceptual and analytical reports to customers, and larger project teamsDevelop white papers and concept documents supporting product development and business development activitiesWHAT YOU HAVE DONEBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 10 years’ experience or equivalent10-15+ years experience in rapid prototypingExperience driving the technical direction of software programsStrong software architecture, design, and development experience Software engineer / architect with background in Java, C/C++, and PythonKnowledgeable of Army and Joint EW doctrineThe ability to engage constructively with peers and external stakeholders to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisionsAbility to analyze and solve complex problemsPossesses a thorough knowledge of applicable complex operational mission areas and program requirementsDevelop agile execution plans for incremental capability deliveriesDevelop high-level System engineering artifacts to lead Technical teamsMust be able to work independently with limited oversight and function effectively as part of a geographically separated teamExperience with electronic warfare, radar, or communication systemsEVEN BETTERKnowledge of Electronic Warfare techniques and algorithms.Experience with RF propagation and modellingFamiliar with: TAK, RaptorX, EWPMT, NRL Scene Builder, Software Defined Radios, DoD Electronic Warfare Systems / Programs of Record, JICD 4.2, ISA, VMF, USMTF XML
