Job Purpose:  

As a member of the Engineer Team, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining applications within the Openforce ecosystem, ensuring their stability and efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and other members of the Technology Team to drive innovation and seamless integrations.   

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the development, delivery, and maintenance of efficient C# .NET applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Actively participate in all SCRUM ceremonies, including planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to foster agile development and continuous improvement with a solid understanding of agile and lean values and that one process does not fit all.
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure high software quality with a customer-centric approach.
  • Create and manage technical documentation to support development efforts.
  • Meet critical deadlines while effectively communicating progress and challenges.
  • Actively Participate in technical reviews and solution reviews.
  • Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices while prioritizing security and system performance.
  • Maintain adaptability, collaboration, and keen attention to detail, with the ability to break down tasks into manageable segments while prioritizing the delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Maintain effective communication skills, including listening.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of development experience with a deep understanding of C# and .NET Features
  • Strong proficiency in modern Javascript Frameworks for front-end and full-stack development
  • Strong experience in authentication mechanisms, including role-based and claim-based authorization
  • Experience in comprehensive test development, ensuring high code quality and reliability
  • Experienced with AWS or other Cloud Providers.
  • Proficient with CI/CD Pipeline and strong database experience, particularly MSSQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs
  • Previous experience with legacy applications
