QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement test strategies for various projects.

• Execute software testing procedures, ensuring all issues are identified and resolved before release.

• Establish testing goals, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Design and run test cases, analyzing and documenting results.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, applying effective solutions.

• Maintain detailed documentation for functional testing.

• Lead discussions with QA teams and developers to resolve outstanding issues.

• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Categorize and document software errors for future reference.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance scalability and efficiency.

• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and career development.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.

• Strong background in project management and QA methodologies.

• Several years of experience working within a development team.

• Proficiency with databases such as MS SQL and CosmosDB.

• Hands-on experience with various testing strategies.

• Familiarity with Jira and Azure DevOps for project management.

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Bash.

• Experience with automotive testing frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework).

• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Jira, and Miro.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.

• English proficiency at B2+ level.
