About the role

We’re now looking for a Head of Business Control! This highly commercial role is to be the senior leader in charge of finance for the Nordhealth Therapy Business Unit. Reporting to the Group CFO, and working closely with the CEO of Nordhealth Therapy, the Head of Business Control will aim to successfully grow the Therapy business and maximise its long-term financial health! 🚀

Your key responsibilities include:
  • Finance leader supporting the CEO of the Therapy Business Unit (BU). Part of Therapy BU leadership team.

  • Prepare financial and non-financial KPI reporting to measure performance of the BU.

  • Prepare/own the full P&L and cashflow budgets/forecasts for the BU.

  • Manage target setting process for the BU, and approvals for new expenditure.

  • Monitor progress against budget/forecast and suggest measures to always stay on track.

  • Support decision making with financial analysis, e.g. business cases for new projects, evaluating commercial deals, pricing support.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, and investment, aiming to maximise ROI.

  • Support budget/P&L holders in the BU, with management information, and advice on good financial management.

  • Consider and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities (M&A) if they arise.

  • Support strategic work, e.g. new market assessment.

  • Work with accounting to ensure quality of actual data, that is highly accurate and useful for decision making.

  • Support the whole group by leading the group FP&A timetable, including consolidating the group budget/forecast, and preparing group level reporting.

  • Other duties that can be reasonably assigned by the Group CFO, or BU CEO.

  • As the business needs demand, build and oversee the Therapy Business Control team.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:

  • Professional Qualification e.g. CPA, or M.Sc in Finance, or other equivalent

  • High level of experience in finance and business control.

  • Good IT skills (excel, financial tools, business intelligence, reporting)

  • Great analytical skills
