As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes for patient services. Your role ensures compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Attention to detail is crucial to accurately translate medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments into standardized codes. Your work supports healthcare providers in billing, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

      • Proven work experience as a Medical Auditor or similar role within the healthcare industry.
      • Experience with medical billing and coding.
      • Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations and procedures.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • High attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
      • Proficiency in using healthcare database systems.
      • Relevant certification, such as a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or equivalent.
      • Gradute of any Medical allied Courses, preferably with clinical background
