How you will make a difference:

Principal Solutions Consultants are motivated, tech-savvy communicators – team players who make an impact across the whole organization. This is a pre-sales role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing -- you're looked at not just as a product expert, but a thought leader that helps drive the future of the Iterable platform internally and externally with customers and prospects. You’ll constantly be learning and applying a broad range of skills, collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams – guiding marketers, tech teams, product managers, and C-level executives on how to best unlock the full value of Iterable.

By learning about prospects’ goals and challenges, crafting solutions, and giving feedback you’ll have daily opportunities to hone your sales and technical presentation skills. You’ll demonstrate the power and value of the Iterable platform using creative brainstorming, critical thinking, and problem-solving. You will also get to tackle a broad range of situations beyond sales presentations, including internal education and technical projects.

Responsibilites:

  • Work closely with our Enterprise Account Executives on our most strategic sales opportunities to assess client challenges, think critically to devise solutions, and strategize how to present that information back to C-Level executives
  • Generate excitement around the Iterable platform by creating compelling value-based demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to diverse audiences
  • Become an Iterable product expert to support and sell use case and technical integration solutions for prospective clients
  • Drive trials and proof of concept implementations from initial scoping through to successful handoff to our Professional Services team
  • Serve as a key contributor to both our Product Management and Engineering teams regarding communicating customer feedback.  
  • Serve as an evangelist for both Iterable at Tradeshows, Industry Events, and key company events such as Company Kickoff and Sales Kickoff
  • Have the opportunity to travel both domestically and internationally 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in a client facing pre-sales experience, preferably SaaS and in MarTech
  • Proven track record of working on large, sophisticated enterprise sales cycles with Fortune 2000 companies
  • Technically curious and self-motivated – passionate about learning
  • Strong experience in any of the following areas, particularly in the Martech/Adtech ecosystem: Mobile, APIs, Programming, Custom Integrations & ETL Processes
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills with strength in describing technical issues to others less well versed in technology
  • Experience presenting to people at all levels of the organization (from end-users to the board) would be very valuable

The annual cash compensation for this role is $170,000 - $235,000 and includes annual base salary (70%) and target variable pay (30%) (actual payout is subject to the percentage attainment of specific sales goals). The total compensation package also includes equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
