The Lab Filtration Sales Specialist  is responsible for growing sales for d lab filtration product portfolios in their designated territory with a strong focus on design in for new and recurring business opportunities within all customer segments. The LF Sales Specialist will have a keen understanding of the market dynamics and areas for growth, an awareness and familiarity of the needs of the customer, and knowledge of Cytiva’s genomics and lab filtration product portfolio offerings.

This position reports to the Discovery and Medical Latam Leader  and is part of the Discovery and Medical team located in Brazil and will be fully remote. 

What you will do:

  • Develop strong business relationships with customers by earning trust and loyalty through providing Cytiva workflow solutions and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Attain or exceed the business objectives related to the Lab Filtration portfolio: developing new markets, succeeding in understanding assigned territory, targeting market segments, and introducing new products and workflow solutions as directed by company goals and strategy. 
  • Work with the Cytiva Account Manager team to demonstrate the breadth and range of Cytiva capabilities. Train and assist the Account Managers to be proficient within the Lab Filtration  portfolio.
  • Build business strategies in assigned territory and partner with fellow Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Be accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline & sales funnel using salesforce.com. 

Who you are:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in the Life Sciences field, or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel within assigned geographic assigned geographic territory
  • 4 plus years of successful commercial experience, including but not limited to sales, marketing, technical support, and field applications support within biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries in Life Sciences research or a combination of experience post-bachelor working experience in a Biotech, Pharma, or Academic lab.
  • Proven account management and project planning skills.
  • Advance English and Portuguese and/or Spanish.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to present complex ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – list specifics 40% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Work experience with Pall and Cytiva  lab filtration portfolio
  • Expertise using Saleforce.com for sales funnel management, reporting and forecasting or similar CRM systems.
  • Works well independently and also has strong influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills
