You'll join the Treasury team responsible for cash management, liquidity forecasting, financial risk management , and banking relationships.

As the Treasury Internship, you will have the unique opportunity to partner with Treasury and Finance experts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You will have the unique opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, you may assist with the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Assist with bank account reconciliations and reporting

Participate/observe in meetings with external banks and financial institutions

Assist with the bank account management including administration of bank account authorities and signatories, documenting and tracking bank accounts by institution and entity, completing and updating banking documents, and ensuring proper documentation is in place

Contribute to the implementation of a bank account management system, assisting with system setup and ensuring data integrity

Support the implementation of a bank fee analysis system, including gathering and organizing bank fee data, and identifying opportunities for cost savings

Contribute to the preparation of treasury reports and presentations for senior management

Help with various ad-hoc treasury/cash management and finance projects as needed

Participate in process improvements and optimize treasury operations

Skills and abilities of the ideal candidate: 

Strong interest in corporate finance and treasury functions

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Ability to work independently at times with some direction & manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism

Job-Related Requirements:  

Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace

Access to high-speed internet

Technology will be provided

Education Level:

3rd year/4th year College

Degree Target:

Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or Economics

Program Dates:

June 2nd to Aug 8th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Salary Ranges: $20.00 - $26.50
