Job description

Job Overview:

This role will support and help execute end-to-end legacy planning and M&A support for LPL’s new affiliation model. We are seeking a Senior Analyst to help deliver seamless succession planning and M&A offerings. This individual will be a leader in advocating for proper succession planning and M&A best practices to help advisors grow and protect their legacy.

Responsibilities:

LPL's Business & Lifecycle Solutions is a fast-growing division with an entrepreneurial spirit focused on delivering innovative, industry-leading services to help advisor practices grow, protect, and plan for their legacy. This individual will be supporting a new affiliation model aimed at driving advisor growth.

  • Work with the advisor support team to assist advisors with succession and protection planning
  • Understand continuity, succession, M&A, and corporate planning options to guide advisors to make educated decisions
  • Help streamline our operational model and processes to provide succession support at scale
  • Support M&A process following advisor death/disability events
  • Utilize internal resources to ensure milestones are completed, and advisor expectations are met
  • Interface with business unit counterparts to address specific needs of advisors
  • Help advisors navigate LPL’s M&A and succession planning offerings
  • Deliver advisor book valuations to help them understand the value of their business
  • Service design to turn complex processes into a seamless experience for clients at all levels of expertise
  • Support reporting and analysis to drive advisor business decisions
  • Support escalations by both internal business partners and our advisors
  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, and additional responsibilities as required
  • Support presentation of program KPIs and insights to Executive leadership
  • Be able to present new ideas as we expand and iterate on our product offerings

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics (or a related discipline) or related work experience
  • 2+ years of succession planning, M&A, and/or wealth manage practice management
  • Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint

  • Strong knowledge of business valuations and financial concepts preferred
  • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative, and show strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range:

$78,900-$131,500/year

 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
