Job description

Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant in the Los Angeles area to join their team that is detail oriented, has excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Our client strives to provide a collaborative environment that prioritizes work life balance, growth, and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities
  • Setting up, confirming, and creating agendas for meetings with clients
  • Attending meetings and taking notes that are distributed to attendees
  • Updating client and event information in the companies CRM systems
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Creating weekly and monthly reports
  • Updating the company website weekly
  • Updating the company's blog and LinkedIn pages weekly
  • Using Mailchimp to send out emails to clients weekly
  • Setting up, coordinating, and attending webinars with the firm partners 
  • Occasionally attend expos, conferences, and other events in the Los Angeles area
  • Administrative support to all departments
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Experience with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with CRMs is a plus
  • Experience setting up different virtual platforms for video calls
  • Experience using graphic design programs is a plus
  • Experience with E newsletter marketing with MailChimp is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • 1+ year of experience working as part of a marketing team in some capacity

The ideal candidate for this position is personable and enjoys working on a team. This position needs someone who is well-spoken, detail oriented, and can accurately capture notes and relevant information into a CRM.
