Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Peoria, Arizona time) – 8 hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid break

Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours


As a Bookkeeper for this growing real estate investment firm, you will manage financial records, process transactions, and provide key financial insights. You'll work with a dynamic team, handling real estate finance from property purchases to management. Your accuracy and expertise will help drive the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain precise financial records for 100+ properties across multiple states.

  • Process and record a high volume of financial transactions, including income and expenses.

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

  • Collaborate with property managers and real estate agents to ensure accurate financial tracking.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

  • Help streamline and improve bookkeeping processes.

  • Coordinate with internal team members and external partners on financial matters.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in real estate.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
