Superior Executive and Legal Recruiting is a placement firm for executive and legal talent. Our firm works for corporations, start-ups as well as law firms and other organizations in need of top professionals.
We work solely on a retainer basis. Interviews are by appointment only and we do not accept unsolicited resumes.
Our client, a well-established California-based labor and employment firm, is seeking to hire a Senior Attorney (5+ years) with extensive Labor & Employment experience. The firm exclusively represents employees in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations, which are becoming increasingly common. The firm covers all types of claims, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, worker misclassification, clock/rest issues, etc.
The position requires an experienced attorney who is familiar with all stages of litigation and can hit the ground running. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for representing and growing an individual caseload (primarily cases in pre-litigation), as well as supervising and managing the productivity--including quality of service--provided by the firm's associate attorneys.
The Senior Attorney's responsibilities will also include recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to strengthen the firm's legal team, assisting with reviews and promotions, determining attorney salaries and billing rates, and making recommendations for improvement.
This is a terrific and unique opportunity to take a hands-on leadership role at a plaintiff’s firm with an established track record, a solid support team/structure and existing business already in place.
If you're ready to take the next step in your legal career and join a team of dedicated legal professionals committed to protecting workers' rights, we encourage you to apply today. Please include your resume, a cover letter, and any other relevant documents. All resumes will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
Must be licensed and in good standing in California to be considered.
