About the Role:
 The Senior Manager of Health IT Policy and Communications plays a critical role in shaping and executing the marketing and communications strategy for the Federal and Strategic Advisory team. This role exists to drive business development efforts, support strategic initiatives, and enhance the team’s market presence. As a Health IT Subject Matter Expert (SME), the Senior Manager ensures that all communications are informed by the latest industry developments and regulatory requirements, positioning the team as thought leaders in the field. The role reports to the Senior Director, Health IT Policy and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to achieve the Federal and Strategic Advisory team's goals and projects

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with the Federal and Strategic Advisory team’s objectives. Strategize and execute end-to-end campaigns to identify and develop market opportunities for government partner outreach and other initiatives. Oversee the creation of content, including white papers, case studies, press releases, and digital campaigns, to promote the team’s expertise and achievements. Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Support the Senior Director, Health IT Policy and SVP in identifying, tracking, and pursuing new business opportunities. Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive business growth and expand the team's portfolio.
  • Act as a health IT SME within the marketing and communications function, providing insights and guidance on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Ensure all marketing materials and strategies are informed by current health IT knowledge and compliant with industry standards. Advise on the impact of new regulations and technologies on the team's communications and marketing efforts.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to build relationships, gather insights, and ensure alignment with the team's strategic goals. Represent the team at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the team as leaders in Health IT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of communications and marketing efforts with broader business objectives. Conduct market research including identifying relevant background, key personas, pain points, and sales/content talking points to ensure that messaging resonates with the correct market segments
  • Manage client relationships and ensure timely project deliverables.
  • Oversee client expectations and priorities, ensuring all project deliverables are met on schedule. Develop tailored reports that align with client needs, providing clear communication and maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and project success.

  • Your Key Strengths:
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role within the Health IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of Health IT industry trends and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • Bonus Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior marketing or communications role with a focus on Health IT.
  • Experience in federal contracting or consulting environments.
  • Experience in business development and strategic planning.
  • Experience with public relations and media outreach in the Health IT sector.
