Job description

Brighton Solutions is seeking a full-time Construction Project Lead to join the Construction Management division of a leading Civil Engineering Services firm.

In this role, we are seeking individuals with a minimum of 10 years experience in construction project management. Ideally, we are seeking individuals that have a successful history of completing projects on time and under budget. About 50% of the projects the organization supports are public works, and 50% private. For the public works support, we are seeking at least 5 years of experience leading projects directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).

Candidates who have certification in materials testing should detail these certifications.

Desired Skills and Experience

BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related; MS preferred in Construction Management
10+ years of construction management experience
Knowledge of Construction and Materials Manual (CMM), Standard Specifications for highway and structures construction (SPEC), and Facilities Development Manual (FDM), Field Manager, Field Book and other construction related software
Strong experience with project planning software applications and tools such as MS Excel
IDOT experience is preferred.
