1. VLAN Assignment: When a new job is assigned to a Project Manager (PM), the Project Assistance (PA) will create and assign a VLAN (IP address) to the customer’s account. This information will be entered in Intravue and updated in the attributes section of Business Central (BC). (See: Assign a VLAN)
2. LSP & Network Configuration: The PA will send the LSP name and installation details to HD Activations, requesting the necessary IP and network configurations for GRE installation. This is documented by updating the PM job task document.
3. Smartbox Channel Lineups: The PA will create and upload Smartbox channel lineups (excel document) into Intravue to prepare the Smartbox for configuration upon site launch.
4. Welcome Packet Creation: The PA will create and upload the welcome packet into Intravue. This allows the PM to download it and send it to the property for sign-offs upon project completion.
5. RML, TLX & Samsung Reach File Creation: The PA will create RML, TLX, and Samsung Reach files including TV or Set-Top-Box models, depending on the installation type for the PM.
6. Marriott Platform 2 Tasks: For jobs on Marriott’s Platform 2, the PA will create a PCD TLX and update the channel map as required.
7. Smartbox Programming: The PA will program the Smartbox channel lineup after it has been authorized.
8. Above Property Programming: The PA will program the channel lineup for Above Property once the channel scan has been completed.
9. TLX Upload: The PA will upload TLX files and the PCD files to the WorldVue HUB server.
10. Guide Information Update: The PA will update the guide information on the server
