The Role:
We are seeking a Lead Organizational Development Specialist to drive initiatives that enhance leadership effectiveness, team performance, and organizational agility through strategic capability-building. You will be instrumental in shaping a high-performance, adaptable workforce by designing and implementing strategies in organizational development, change management, team effectiveness, and cultural transformation. Your background will be rich with work in organizational behavior, leadership development, capability development, skills-based learning, and change facilitation, with a track record of delivering scalable OD solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture Development
- Partner with the People team and business leaders to embed a strong leadership and coaching culture across the company
- Design and implement leadership development programs, including executive coaching, mentoring initiatives, etc.
- Coordinate closely with the Employee Engagement team to align leadership expectations with company values and performance standards
Team & Talent Development
- Design and implement team development programs that enhance collaboration, psychological safety, and high-performance team dynamics
- Provide coaching and consulting to leaders and teams on conflict resolution, communication, and team effectiveness.
- Develop and facilitate workshops, offsites, and experiential learning programs to strengthen team cohesion and leadership capabilities.
Strategic Capability Development & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute a capability development strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring employees have the skills needed to drive innovation and growth
- Conduct skills gap analyses and partner with business leaders to identify critical capabilities for the future
- Design and implement capability academies, skills frameworks, and career pathways to support long-term employee development
- Leverage appropriate learning platforms, digital adoption tools, and in-the-flow-of-work learning solutions to enhance capability-building efforts
Organizational Development & Change Management
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies that enhance employee engagement, collaboration, and business performance.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational transformations, restructures, and cultural shifts.
- Partner with senior leaders to assess organizational effectiveness and design interventions to improve team dynamics, communication, and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, HR, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in organizational development, change management, and/or leadership development
- Proven expertise in facilitating change, driving cultural transformation, and improving organizational effectiveness
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide OD initiatives.
- Experience with leadership/team assessments, coaching frameworks, and team development methodologies.
Nice to have:
- Certification in change management (e.g., ProSci, Kotter) and/or leadership coaching (e.g., ICF, Hogan, Korn Ferry)
