DevOps Engineer (Remote, US)

About the Role

In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You'll work closely with software engineers to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable while enabling rapid, high-quality software delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform as our infrastructure-as-code solution
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub for automated testing and deployment
• Configure and manage Kubernetes deployments using Kustomize and Helm charts
• Monitor system performance and reliability using our Grafana LGTM stack
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize application performance
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across our AWS infrastructure
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve team productivity and system reliability

About You

• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar backend technical roles
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with Kustomize and Helm for Kubernetes resource management
• Familiarity with observability tools, particularly the Grafana LGTM stack
• Keen sense of security
• Experience working in healthcare and PHI-sensitive environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to grow in technologies and scope of role

Expected Full-Time Base Salary:  $103,000 - $125,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements equity, paid time off and benefits.
