Back End Developer (remote)

🎯 The Role

You’ll join one of the core product teams, working with frontend engineers, product managers, and other backend developers to deliver new features and continuously improve the technical foundation of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
• Optimize data models, queries, and integrations
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with product teams to scope and deliver features
• Improve internal tooling, monitoring, and infrastructure

The stack you'll work with:

• Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
• GraphQL, REST, Redis
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (ECS, RDS, S3)
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions

🙋‍♂️ Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficient in Node.js or similar server-side languages
• Experience designing APIs and working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerized deployments
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to performance
• Bonus: experience with event-driven architecture or real-time systems
