Senior Backend Developer (Node/AWS)

Contract: B2B

Salary: up to 140 PLN/h net/B2B

Location: Remote within Poland

Project: cloud-native, serverless-first platform built for an international digital client.

Key Technologies:

• Fluency in Polish
• Node.js
• AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Serverless Framework
• TypeScript
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Project Overview:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll take a key role in the design and implementation of distributed backend systems in a fully serverless environment. The project emphasizes high performance, reliability, and clean code. The team follows Agile principles, and there is a strong culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, event-driven backend solutions using Node.js and AWS
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Write clean, modular, and testable code
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
• Mentor mid-level developers and support team growth
• Own features end-to-end, from design to deployment

Requirements:

• Strong experience with backend development in Node.js
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS and serverless architecture
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern coding standards
• Experience with event-driven systems and microservices
• Solid understanding of IaC, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices
• Ability to work independently and drive solutions forward
• Fluency in Polish and advanced English (B2/C1 level)
