Job Summary
The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Appeal - Financial Follow-up specialist will follow up on the status of appeals that have been submitted to Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care plans and determine next appropriate actions based on the result of the Appeal.

Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum three (3) years experience in healthcare/revenue cycle billing environment
Above average knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care billing guidelines
Ability to read and decipher an explanation of benefits and/or remittance advice notice
Minimum of one (1) year working in a call center environment
Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
Proficient in Word, Excel and Office 365
Preferred Experience
A minimum of one (1) year working in customer service
Preferred Education
High school diploma
GED
Or significant, relevant work experience
