VEV Electrical DV & Sign off / Breadboard Engineer is responsible for managing the electrical system and subsystem sign off testing (including EDS). The engineer will conduct the testing in vehicle, breadboard, HiL o test benches at vehicle, system, subsystem and component level. The GPDS milestones to be supported by this position are FDJ, PEC, FEC and post-FEC.
Responsibilities
Conduct system and subsystem verification testing and signoff of Electrical Systems, Software, Features and hardware at applicable GPDS milestones (FDJ, PEC and FEC).
Definition of robust, efficient EE Sign-off DVP at UN and UP phases, jointly with Electrical, Software, Features and Hardware engineering teams.
Revision and approval of test reports, and publication in corporate systems on time and with integrity.
Lead root cause analyses and resolution path in case of DV failures.
Definition of properties (Breadboards, TPV Mules, Vehicles) required to support test plans efficiently and within program budget.
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Breadboards at different GPDS phases as applicable.
Ability to create, modify and delete specific tests to increase Electrical Signoff robustness and reduce costs.
Approves vehicle level DVPs and concurs on test acceptance criteria.
Proposes FEDE cascade and performs test data entry and assessments for tests conducted.
Determines feature requirements and test time needed to complete sign off testing.
Procures latest level test parts/ software & signs off vehicle as ok to test.
Executes verification tests, creates DVP evidence and documents test results in FEDE.
Qualifications
Bachelor of engineering: Mechatronics, Electronic, Electrical, Automotive, or similar.
Completed 7 core FTEP's, including DFMEA, G8D, Reliability, DVP&PV, and Systems Engineering Fundamentals.
Strong understanding of FEDE and JIRA.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish and English).
Excellent organizational skills including ability to multi-task.
Familiar with AIMS, Testnet, Worq online databases.
Enjoy both "hands on" and analytical environment, working on test activities in the laboratory, garage, and test tracks.
Good collaboration skills, able to work with multiple people and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
Driving skills.
Demonstrated high integrity.
