The Director of Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Serviceswill l ead and expand SHI's Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Services practice, driving innovation and delivering exceptional solutions to our enterprise clients. This role encompasses managing professional services technical groups, and a robust services delivery partner ecosystem. You will lead a team of Managers, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and management of complex infrastructure and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Practice Development:
Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Services practice, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
Establish and maintain best practices for datacenter infrastructure, hybrid cloud platforms, advanced networking, and business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
Lead the development of service offerings related to modern datacenter design, cloud migration, network transformation, and BC/DR strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams of technical professionals, including engineers & architects.
Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance the technical expertise and leadership skills of team members.
Ensure the team maintains a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in datacenter, cloud, networking, and BC/DR domains.
Customer Engagement & Solution Delivery:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into comprehensive technical solutions.
Oversee the successful execution of complex datacenter, cloud, and networking projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Drive the development of compelling proposals and presentations that articulate the value of SHI's services.
Ensure a world-class customer experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, and technical excellence.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration:
Maintain a strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure technologies (e.g., servers, storage, networking, virtualization), hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Outposts, Azure Stack, Google Anthos), advanced networking (e.g., SDN, SD-WAN, BGP, MPLS), and BC/DR solutions.
Collaborate with key technology partners (e.g., Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) to drive joint solutions and initiatives.
Work closely with sales, presales, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
Ensure that the team is trained and certified on the latest relevant technologies.
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
Drive the growth of professional services revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Manage pipeline development and resource utilization to maximize profitability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Ensure that the team is able to properly scope and deliver on complex projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within a technology services organization, with a focus on datacenter, cloud, and networking solutions.
Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure, hybrid cloud platforms, advanced networking, and BC/DR technologies and best practices.
Proven track record of successfully leading and growing technical services teams.
Experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex projects.
Strong understanding of RTO and RPO as it relates to disaster recovery.
Experience with disaster recovery replication technologies.
Experience with network virtualization.
Experience with infrastructure as code.
Previous experience with IT management or technical sales management.

Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
