Clinical Research Lead (CRL) in the Houston, TX area will manage clinical investigators and sites for Lilly clinical trials and Post Marketing Safety Studies. Responsibilities include site identification and qualification, timely trial enrollment, database locks, issue management, and inspection readiness.

Business Management and Engagement: The CRL establishes strong relationships with clinical investigators, collaborates cross-functionally, prospects targeted sites, maintains therapeutic expertise, acts as a communication bridge, and influences internal and external factors to improve clinical research delivery.

Country/Regulatory: The CRL engages with regulatory bodies, ethical review boards, and national authorities to represent Lilly Investigator Engagement. They influence pharmaceutical associations, ensure compliance with country requirements, engage in the clinical development community, and support affiliate leadership in implementing initiatives.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research,
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, therapeutic expertise, self-management skills, communication skills, strategic agility, and leadership behaviors.

Other Information/Additional Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field
  • Organizational/planning skills, customer experience enhancement, fluency in English, knowledge of country regulatory guidelines, teamwork skills, decision-making ability, innovative solutions, and travel requirements.
  • Travel is 50 to 75%

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$111,000 - $162,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
