Develop system solution proposals based on NXP products and present them to customers.

Provide technical expertise for design-in activities and assist customers with application board schematics.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify projects and proposals for customers.

Gather customer intelligence on product plans and communicate requirements to product groups.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

Develop system solution proposals based on NXP products applications in the industrial space and present in front of customers and peers.
Provide strong technical expertise supporting design-in activities. Assist customers on site in evaluation of silicon support HW reviews of customer application board schematics.
Support the Quality organization in analyzing Customer Quality Incidents (CQIs).
Contribute to research on the competitive landscape, help to assess the NXP offerings and assist in generation of collateral to identify device/system-level differentiation from competition.
Close cooperation with Sales and Marketing on project identification and proposals to customers.
Leverage customer meetings to gather intelligence about the customers’ end product plans and relevant silicon requirements, communicate the collected information to the product groups.
Identify new features for NXP semiconductor products to meet future market requirements.
Assist in the development of technical collateral for internal or customer use (e.g. Application Notes, Engineering Bulletin, etc.). Support trade shows and technical society meetings.

Your profile:

Ideally some experience in the related field through working student or intern activities
Good knowledge about low and high level programming languages to aid embedded system debugging and development
Good knowledge of analog circuit design and knowledge about Analog and Mixed Signal ICs
Good knowledge about switch mode regulator applications and designs and linear regulators
Ideally some experience in design/systems engineering and/or field application engineering
Capable of establishing open and trusting relationships with customers
High degree of flexibility, self-motivation and business orientation
Ability of solving problems in front of clients by yourself
Education/studies: BSEE required, MSEE preferred
Good written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English

Ideally you could start on short notice, e.g. 1st May.
