Job description

Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pfizer Dermatology franchise within Specialty Care.  Pfizer Dermatology has 3 on-market products and a robust pipeline.  The franchise grew 87% in 2024 and is poised for continued growth and success.

  • CIBINQO, launched in 2022, is an oral JAK inhibitor indicated for moderate-to-severe Atopic Dermatitis (AD). 
  • LITFULO, launched in 2023, is an oral JAK inhibitor indicated for Alopecia Areata (AA).
  • Eucrisa, launched in 2017, is a topical steroid-free PDE4 inhibitor that is indicated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate Atopic Dermatitis. 

Pfizer Dermatology is seeking a franchise-level Sr. Manager, Dermatology Congress Marketing.  The Sr. Manager will be responsible for leading all elements of the dermatology congress strategy, planning, and tactical execution across the dermatology franchise.  The Sr. Manager will create a harmonized approach across the brands and will partner with numerous cross-functional colleagues to represent Pfizer Dermatology with our customers.  Pfizer Dermatology is planning to attend ~35 national and ~26 regional congresses in 2025, and it represents a key pillar to our HCP engagement strategy.  Significant travel is expected to be successful in this role.

This position requires exceptional project management expertise, strategic thinking and prioritization, change-agility, cross-functional partnership, and the ability to lead through a diverse set of internal/external stakeholders.  The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, exemplary leadership, detail-oriented execution, with a proven track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration and delivering exceptional results.   The Sr. Manager will report to the US CIBINQO Lead.  He/she will also have a dotted line reporting to the US LITFULO Lead to enable collaboration across both brands.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the congress strategy across the dermatology franchise, delivering on brand objectives in an ever-changing environment
  • Work with the brand teams to develop innovative booth content and congress drivers to showcase Pfizer’s leadership in medical dermatology and drive branded and unbranded education and awareness 
  • In partnership with the brand teams, track performance of congress marketing initiatives to assess early learnings and drive continuous improvement and investment efficiencies
  • Manage all budget related to congresses: creative, sponsorships & exhibits
  • Liaise with numerous cross-functional partners including PRT, sales, medical, BCD Travel and marketing
  • Co-lead relationships with congress associations (in partnership with PRT and Public Affairs)
  • Lead congress logistics including:
  • Tactical shipments to congresses
  • PRT coordination with sales and marketing
  • Full Pfizer team coordination for congress attendance (registration/hotels)
  • Pre-congress briefings for each congress (exhibit hours, links for congress attendance training, talking points for reps, promo items sent to hotel)
  • Be on-site or nominate an on-site lead for congress set-up and opening
  • Partner with brand teams to develop competitive intelligence gathering at congresses
  • Act as lead point-of-contact with GES and meeting planning vendors to manage budget, vendor/agency relationships, mid and year-end reviews
  • Continually troubleshoot problems/find ways to improve process and content
  • Lead franchise-wide initiatives to drive business impact and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with PRT and brand teams in KOL contracting

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA required
  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Solid business acumen and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with varied internal stakeholders
  • Extremely detail oriented and action driven, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects (budget, timelines, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive alignment
  • Ability to demonstrate success in assisting in developing, coordinating, executing, and measuring HCP marketing programs
  • Self-motivated and a team player, who can work across multiple stakeholders and brands
  • Prior experience in dermatology is highly desired, though not required
  • Travel: up to 33%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
