Job Description

Recently acquired by ABC Fitness Solutions (abcfitness.com), a leading provider of software for the fitness industry. WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

• Your role is based within the Product Design function working directly with the R&D team responsible for our design solutions across our product suite
• You will be working closely and supporting Engineering teams and Product Management and of course our users!
• You are curious and have an exacting attention to detail in problem solving for our users, gym operators, and in turn their gym members.
• You have growing knowledge of existing and evolving design patterns, systems and principles.
• You are inquisitive and keen to learn and test with our users - you want to delight our users with simple, intuitive and memorable user interactions and experiences.
• You are systematic in your approach to iterative, evidence based design and will assist your Engineering and Product colleagues in each phase of research and development.
• You will take shared ownership of our Glofox Design System and design components for our web experiences.
• You will have an opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge of product design and the development process being mentored and learning from experienced team members.   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

• You have 2-3 years experience having previously worked on complex SaaS products - similar product or vertical is a plus  
• Excellent knowledge of flow design, predictable patterns and systems, not just webpages  
• Excellent knowledge of design systems, components, React framework  
• Awareness of the product development process, from problem solving through to detailed UI and visual design  
• An interest in user psychology, research methodology and usage data   
• You can demonstrate a growing portfolio of problem solving and creating beautiful product experiences  
• Excellent knowledge of Figma, Miro, Maze & ProtoPie (or similar)    
• You have created prototypes in Figma, Protopie or similar to test and adjust your solutions  
• Excellent knowledge of responsive design across multiple devices   
• Excellent communication skills  
• Self motivated, optimistic, driven and enthusiastic with a willingness to constantly learn which align with our company values of #oneteam #bestlife #growthminset   

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:  

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations.
