Job Summary:

The MS Engineer provides basic technical support in a professional manner. They resolve customer issues and close tickets efficiently. They are responsible for ensuring that the customer relationship is managed through proactive customer communications by providing rapid response and guaranteeing that estimated response times are communicated up front. The Level 1 Technical Engineer is accountable for customer satisfaction by achieving certain prescribed, measurable performance goals on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· The MS Engineer works to develop and share technical solutions with customers and team members.

· Routinely interfaces with customer's technical and business team member's.

· Guides customers in their decision making related to less complex situations with problem resolution or escalation to Level 2 Engineers.

· Independently uses the appropriate documentation to produce clear, concise, high quality documentation outlining issue, risks, solutions, escalations and close of request.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Intermediate understanding in network design.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional ability to listen and interpret.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to take direction.

· Deliver exceptional customer service.

· Provide engineering support with required technologies.

· Efficient task and incident management.

· Serve as the Services and Technical SME for GDT Managed Services Clients. 

· Must have Knowledge in these Firewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Cisco firepower and Fortinet.

Certifications:

· Added advantage if anyone of below certification.

o    CCNA

o    ACSA
