Job Overview

We are looking for a Content Strategist/Coordinator to take the lead in shaping our inbound marketing, content creation, and brand authority in the Education Management Software and Membership Management Software space across Australia and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to own our content strategy from ideation to execution—using your writing, editorial, and video content skills to position us as the #1 trusted authority in the EdTech SaaS industry. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership to drive qualified traffic, leads, and business growth.

Job Description

As the Content Strategist/Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

Content Strategy & Development
  • Develop and execute a results-driven content strategy that aligns with inbound marketing goals and growth initiatives.
  • Create compelling written and video content that engages our target audience and drives lead generation.
  • Plan and manage editorial calendars, ensuring deadlines and campaign goals are met.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content themes with product updates, customer success stories, and sales enablement needs.
Content Creation & Optimization
  • Write blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, video scripts, and web content with impeccable grammar and storytelling finesse.
  • Produce or coordinate the creation of video content that enhances brand storytelling and product education.
  • Edit and proofread all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Optimize content for SEO, readability, and performance using analytics and best practices.
Performance Tracking & Analysis
  • Monitor content performance using Google Analytics, HubSpot, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
  • Use insights to refine content strategy and continuously improve traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Report on KPIs related to content marketing performance.
Collaboration & Project Management
  • Coordinate with designers, videographers, and subject matter experts to bring content projects to life.
  • Manage timelines, feedback loops, and publishing schedules to ensure smooth execution of all content initiatives.
  • Participate in interviews and research efforts to gather original insights and quotes for storytelling.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in content strategy, content management, or a similar marketing role.
  • Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills with a strong grasp of grammar and tone.
  • Experience in managing video content creation and editorial calendars.
  • Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style).
  • Proficiency with:  HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMRush.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics to drive content decisions.
  • A team player with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Background in print or broadcast journalism.
    • Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or software product marketing.
    • Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategy.
