This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 20 hours per week, flexible during business hours (Monday-Frinday between 9am and 5pm EST)

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage medical billing using a straightforward coding system
  • Handle client communications and follow-up through email and phone
  • Manage incoming calls and client inquiries (light volume)
  • Maintain accurate client records in our practice management system
  • Coordinate with therapists to ensure smooth practice operations
  • Schedule client appointments and send reminders as needed
  • Post pre-created content to social media platforms using our management system
  • Support general administrative tasks that help our practice thrive

Requirements
  • Previous experience with US medical billing systems
  • HIPAA compliance certification and strong understanding of healthcare privacy (REQUIRED)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven experience with practice management systems or similar software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
  • Comfortable with basic social media platform management
  • Available during New York business hours
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
  • Experience in mental health or healthcare settings preferred
