About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven and dependable Accounts Clerk to join our remote finance team. If you thrive on precision, love reconciling accounts, and have experience in U.S. accounting processes, this role is for you. You’ll be responsible for matching payments with invoices, helping track commissions, working with production teams to release paid orders, and ensuring our books are up to date.

This is a critical role for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with internal teams, and deliver accurate financial records with zero fuss. We move fast, and we’re looking for someone who can keep up without breaking a sweat.


What You’ll Do

  • Reconcile client payments with invoices and purchase orders
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and outstanding receivables
  • Work closely with the production team to confirm payment status before releasing orders
  • Maintain accurate records across all client, vendor, and financial data
  • Help calculate monthly commissions and support month-end reporting
  • Handle supplier invoices and support accounts payable
  • Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations



Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience reconciling accounts for U.S.-based companies
  •  Strong QuickBooks experience (preferably QuickBooks Online
  •  Solid understanding of U.S. accounting processes and best practices
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great with Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable with cloud-based systems
  • Strong communicator and team player who can work independently
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with commissions, international payments, or multi-currency reconciliations
